Titel: Setting Up KDE menu option "Recent Documents"
Hi guys,

Have turned on the KDE option to list "Recent Documents" in the KDE menu - but find that OOo documents are not populated into the list.

E.g. edit a .txt - it is shown in the doc list; edit an OpenOffice .odt ... and there it isn't.

So, where do I control / select which docs to be noticed / populated into Recent Documents?

Thanks!

that's not surprising, many of those nice kde things only work with kde apps, and openoffice is probably not a kde based app. Firefox has the same kinds of issues by the way.

I would guess that if you open the same document in koffice, then save it, you'll see it in that list.

However, your last stuff will be there in openoffice when you open it as usual. Not all linux apps play well together, although there is a project to improve that situation, Portland I think it's called. But that's not implemented yet.
