i use local area network and did not have internet connection
how can i see all list of ip that connect to that network using console
i just now use smb:// to see all pc not not all list

netcardconfig should get you DCHP
Re Smaba
ensure that the other PC has granted File Perms for another PC to read or read/write its files, to check go to Control Centre>network/Internet>File Sharing (to change Perms just click the Admin button and click on Add or Change to grant acces to a file or partiton
Opps,edit some hours later--- I am assuming that you have started the samba server..(fish icon, start smaba server, if you made changes in the the control centre, you will need to refresh konqueor

Note the a linux box does spam out heaps packets saying "here I am! here I am!" all the time like a windows box (I think this is right anyway).
So you have to scan your network.
If you network is 192.168.1.x then do something like the following command:
nmap -sP 192.168.1.0/24
