          Hallo,
 
 
ich bin seit kurzem auf von Kubuntu auf Kanotix (Easter2006RC4) umgestiegen. Meine Installation läuft auf Ati 8.28.8 und Kernel 2.6.17.13, auf aktuellem Stand (d-u script).
 
 
Grafikkarte: ATI 850XT
 
 
Jetzt mein Problem: Unter Kubuntu war es möglich, mein 16:9 TFT (Captiva) unter 1440x990, 60Hz anzusteuern.
 
 
Unter Kanotix schaffe ich dieses nicht.

Die vorgegebenen modelines habe ich schon getestet, bringt aber nichts, ebenso knxcc bzw. KDE Kontrollzentrum.
 
 
Unter Modes habe ich auch schon 1440x990 getestet, bringt ebenfalls nichts. 
 
 
BTW: Die Schriften unter KDE sehen fürchterlich aus (Arial).
 
 
Und noch etwas: nach d-u-fixes script musste ich meine DSL Verbindung "MyPPPoe conf" neu einrichten (kein Router etc. sondern Teledat 430 LAN Modem), so daß die Verbindung beim booten hergestellt wird. In KDE muß ich jedoch jedesmal manuell aus der Konsole mittels PON die Verbindung herstellen.
 
 
Irgendwelche Hinweise für mich!?

Vielleicht einfach mal "1440x990" in der Zeile "Modes" einfügen. Wie hat denn die xorg.conf bei Kubuntu ausgesehen? Die Daten müsstest du mit Kanotix auch verwenden können.
