Maybe I should have tried first before asking.
I got it working myself, it works directly with the latest Wine.

There are at leat 15 native linux applications for bittorrent available via apt...

I did it on a whim. I prefer ktorrent. It supports UpNp now.

Thanks jackiebrown, I did not know that, I rarely use torrent anymore (very very slow) and in windows I have always used µTorrent when needed.
