Titel: today's upgrade (6/5/06) breaks ksynaptics touchpad driver

| did a dist-upgrade today, upgrading ~45 packages. result: touchpad cursor totally frozen in middle of screen on logging in to kde. workaround: remove ksynaptics. (I still have basic touchpad functionality using the regular mouse drivers, although smooth-scrolling doesn't work as well as before.) |

Same here :Fujitsu a3040 and Kano-64 ..
I cannot find "ksynaptics," OTOH I do see that kdm "segfaults .. error 4." |

ksynaptics is not part of the distro. i added it myself to add some touchpad functionality. but now my touchpad works OK without it, so...
can't help you with the kdm segfaults error - have no idea what that is (maybe someone else does?) |
