Titel: boot after hd-install??

I installed Kanotix-2005-4 on hard disk. When the box is connected to LAN
it boots fine (as dhcp request can be satisfied). When it is disconnected
from LAN it takes a quite some time to time-out of dhcp requests.. Is there
a way to disable this for booting the syetm fast?

There might be a easier or better way but at that point (time-out of dhcp requests) you can hit ctrl + c to stop it I believe, someone else might have better feedback  |
