| ich benutze 2006-01-rc4 und ich kann mich nicht als "root" einloggen (in die konsole lauft). bei der "klik" instalazion kann das "fstab" nicht modifizieren wegen das verbot das einloggen als "root". wie kann das machen ??? |

Ich spreche nur ein klein wenig Deutsch.

Not advisable at all, but can be fixed at (for hd install)

/etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc
for logging in your wm
If your having problems logging into konsole as root
Can you show us the output of

ls -ld /root
A couple things you can try
use su to log in as root

passwd
now make your own password, you have to type it twice then you will have a root password
In order to open a kde app as root in a terminal/konsole you type
Code:
kdesu whateverapp
A box will popup asking for the root password enter it and you will be good to go
If using live cd type
Code:
fix-unionfs
and you should be able to use klik (been a long time since I used it so not sure on this part) |

apt-get update && apt-get install kdebase
dann gehts wieder.
was piper meint ist eher das generelle einloggen nach kde als root, was wir in kdm diabled haben, da es gefährlich und unnötig ist.
