Hi:
I want to make a Installable DVD of my Kanotix Thorhammer. I had posted a question on Linux Questions.org, I tried using remastersys software, but could not create an ISO image due to squashfs-modules-2.6.24-3.kanotix not present. I tried using squashfs-modules-2.6.24-etchnhalf.1-686, but it also did not work.
How can I make a installable DVD out of my HD installation.

Hi Alan,
why do you need Debian "old stable" ?
Current Debian is "Lenny" and Kanotix-Excalibur based on it works just like a stable release for months.
Do a backup of your files and i.e your /home and try Excalibur.
